Jay worked in hospitality for 15 years and made his transition to Office Manager in 2021 at ATX Animal Clinic. He was born in, and grew up in Austin, Texas where he then moved to San Marcos to pursue an International business degree at Texas State University.
His career started there while in college, working as a front desk hotel employee, where he moved up to finally General Manager of various hotels within the management company he was with. His push for his career came during the pandemic, and decided like many, to pursue a more rewarding career path.
During his free time, he loves to bicycle for exercise, camping with friends, plays video games, and loves watching movies at home with his 11 year old (still energetic) border collie, Sangria.
