Dentistry and Surgery

Dr. Rob, who is also a skilled surgeon, is able to perform a variety common procedures! From dentistry to spay/neuters to mass removals and more, you can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands.

ATX Animal Clinic offers dental cleanings for your dog or cat that include ultrasonic scaling followed by polishing and an oral rinse, which are designed to remove plaque and slow its buildup.

Here’s what’s involved in your pet’s dental care package:

  • Oral examinations under anesthesia
  • Ultrasonic teeth cleaning
  • Tooth extractions (if needed)
  • Polishing
  • Irrigation
  •  Application of plaque preventative

In addition, we’ll chart the progress of your pet’s teeth at each cleaning.

We will perform a full consult exam before surgery, as well as administer bloodwork to be done. During the surgery, our experienced veterinary staff will monitor, and ensure safeguards while the procedure, both during, and after the surgery.

Our most common procedures include:

  • Spay
  • Neuter
  • Mass removals
  • Hematoma repair

For specialty services, we may have to refer out to emergency clinics, or you could inquire about Mobile Veterinary Services, an associate company that we would have come to our facility, and go through the more intensive and invasive procedures. We do not do ear cropping, tail cropping, or declawing at our facility.  If you would like to get a consultation with Dr. Rob for surgery, please tap the link below.
